In order to further promote tourism to India, Government of India has introduced new measures.
2. These include:
(a) the introduction of a short duration eVisa for tourists with one month validity with visa fee of USD 25.
(b) During the months April-June, this fee of USD 25 will be further reduced to USD 10.
(c) Validity of the regular eVisa with fee of USD 80 has been increased from current permissible 1 year to 5 years with multiple entry.
(d) Fee for one year of e-Tourist visa has been reduced from USD 80 to USD 40.
