He was received by the acting Deputy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Kelvin Mtei and the Dean Dr. Shubi Kaijage who on behalf of the institute thanked the Government of India for the generous grant which helped in the establishment of the ICT Resource Centre with HPC facility at the institute. Government of India has set up a High Computing Facility with supercomputer Param Kilimanjaro at the institute. Two Indian experts from CDAC India are conducting Masters Degree programme in Wireless & Mobile Computing (WiMC) and Information Systems & Network Security (ISNS) at the centre.
