Shri Vikram Misri, Deputy National Security Advisor (Dy. NSA) of India visited Tanzania from 1-3 May 2022. On 2nd May, he met with the Foreign Minister Amb. H.E. Liberata Mulamula. They held discussions on wide ranging political & security issue. 
Dy. NSA met Defence Minister H.E. Dr. Stergomena Tax and discussed the existing Defence cooperation. They agreed to further strengthen the ongoing cooperation.
Dy. NSA met Chief of Staff of Tanzania People's Defence Forces (TPDF) Lt. Gen. Mathew E Mkingule. India is a major partner of TPDF in several sectors specially in training & capacity building.
