Art Exhibition "Beyond Herself" (13-17 May 2022)

High Commissioner Binaya Srikanta Pradhan inaugurated Art exhibition "Beyond Herself" at Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre in Dar es Salaam on 13 May 2022. The event will remain open for 5 days until 17 May 2022.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, High Commissioner said art is the medium to unite people and bridge cultures. Curators of the exhibition Ms Safina S Kimbokota and Ms Neviindie Godrich, President of Tanzania Federation of Craft & Art Association (TAFCA), Mr Adrian Nyangamalle and prominent artists were present on the occasion. Curator Ms Safina thanked Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre, High Commission of India for logistical support and students of creative art department of University of Dar es Salaam for active participation. More than 36 artists are showcasing their art works at the exhibition.
