Independence Day celebrations at Dar es Salaam, 15 August 2021

The 75th Independence Day of India was celebrated in Dar es Salaam on 15th August, 2021 with traditional gaiety and patriotic fervour in the Chancery premises.
High Commissioner Shri Binaya S. Pradhan unfurled the National Tricolour and read out the contents of President’s Address in Hindi and English.
The Students of the Indian School in Dar es Salaam led the gathering in the signing of India’s national anthem. They also captivated everyone present with their rendition of soul stirring patriotic songs.  Over 100 special invitees representing various diaspora organizations, Indian businessmen and others attended the celebrations apart from the High Commission officials and families
