Visit of Minister of Defence & National Service of Tanzania to India (25-27 August 2022)

Minister of Defence & National Service of the United Republic of Tanzania, H.E. Dr. Stergomena Lawrence Tax was on a three day official visit to India from 25-27 August 2022.

H.E. Minister visited National War Memorial and paid homage to the fallen heroes by laying wreath at the monument.

She met Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh in New Delhi on 26 August 2022. Both the Ministers agreed to the formation of a Task Force to prepare a Five Year Future Road map for enhancing defence cooperation and to hold the next Joint Defence Cooperation meeting in Tanzania at an early date.

Later in the day, H.E. Minister visited Information Fusion Centre-Indian Ocean Region (IFC-IOR) in Gurugram after which she departed for Hyderabad. She visited AVNL, Bharat Dynamics Ltd manufacturing unit in Bhanur and Zen Technologies on 27th August. 2022
