There are enquiries from Indian citizens living in Tanzania about travel and other possible support/ guidance in the wake of global spread of COVID 19. As all are aware, India is in a complete lockdown till mid April 2020. All Indian citizens in Tanzania are advised to follow COVID 19 advisories issued by the Governments of India and Uinted Republic of Tanzania and take all possible precautions and safety measures. Indian citizens living in Tanzania and desirous of travelling to India should wait for commercial flights to resume operations to India. Meanwhile, all Indian passport holders residing in mainland Tanzania are requested to register themselves (and their family members having Indian Passports) online at the High Commission of India’s website
