2nd India Tanzania DEFEXPO (2 October 2023).

Defence Minister HE Dr Stergomena Tax, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Gen Manoj Pande attended the 2nd India Tanzania DEFEXPO held at Dar es Salaam; 19 Indian Defence manufacturers showcased diversity of equipment to Tanzanian defence forces & other stakeholders.

COAS highlighted growing prowess of defence industries and emphasized on the quality defence products of Atmanirbhar Bharat (self-reliant India).

High Commissioner Binaya Srikanta Pradhan referred to willingness of Indian companies for joint development & production of defence equipment in Tanzania and appreciated regular contacts between Indian companies & Tanzanian stakeholders after 1st DEFEXPO in May 2022.
