Minister of Constitutional & Legal Affairs of Tanzania H.E. Dr. Pindi Hazara Chana participated in the "1st Regional Conference on Access to Legal Aid: Strengthening Access to Justice in the Global South" in New Delhi from 27-28 November 2023.
The National Legal Services Authority, India (NALSA) together with the International Legal Foundation (ILF), the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) hosted the 1st regional conference on Access to Legal Aid with the goal to address the challenges in ensuring access to quality legal aid services in the countries of the Global South.
