Indian Naval Ship (INS) Trishul visited Tanzania (Zanzibar and Dar es Salaam) from 5-9 July 2023 .

Professional interactions included visit by Indian Navy personnel to  Kikosi Maalum Cha Kuzuiya Magendo (KMKM) Headquarters & Training Centre and visit by officers of Tanzanian Peoples Defence Forces onboard INS Trishul. Capacity building activities such as training on Small Arms, NBCD ,  VBBS, Digital Navigation and  CASEVAC were conducted for TPDF. Based on a request from KMKM Headquarter, Zanzibar Navy, INS Trishul rendered assistance for repairs on hydraulic mechanism on stability flaps of their SAR  boat.

 



Commanding Officer Trishul Capt Kapil Kaushik interacted with Commodore BT Rutambuka, SDS (Navy) National Defence College on 08 July 2023. Discussions focused on enhancing cooperation through coordinated operations & bolstering interoperability between Indian Navy & Tanzania Navy in the maritime  domain.

 

Maiden Joint EEZ Patrol as part of Maritime Partnership Exercise (Sea Phase) involving INS Trishul & Tanzanian Ships Fatundu & Penguisi was conducted.

 

 

Continuing with the mission of One World, One Health, Yoga was performed in Dar es Salaam on board INS Trishul with participation of Indian and Tanzanian naval personnel under the Indian Navy Ocean Ring of Yoga initiative.
