Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) of Tanzania General Jacob John Mkunda laid a wreath and paid homage to the fallen Indian soldiers at the National War Memorial.

Chief of Defence Staff of the Indian Armed Forces General Anil Chauhan met CDF and his delegation. Comprehensive roadmap spanning from defence cooperation, maritime collaboration, defence equipments, technology collaboration and capacity building were discussed.
CDF visited National Defence College, New Delhi. He unveiled his portrait on the Wall of Honour at NDC library. Lt. Gen. SS Dahiya, Commandant NDC presented the traditional scroll to CDF. Commandant NDC & senior faculty at NDC interacted with the Tanzanian delegation.

CDF visited Naval Base at Karwar. During the visit, Tanzanian delegation interacted with senior Naval Officers & representatives of Mazagon Dock Ltd regarding mutual cooperation in maritime domain.
CDF visited Infantry School, Mhow to get an insight into the training methodologies employed at the premier training institute. The delegation was briefed on the latest Infantry Weapons and witnessed the firing & training of the latest weaponry.
