Commanding Officer of INS Tir, Capt. Anshul Kishore, Commanding Officer of ICGS Sarathi Cmdt Abhimanyu S. Chauhan alongwith DA, HCI Dar es Salaam, Commodore Agyapal Singh and Consul General of India, Zanzibar Dr. Kumar Praveen called on Minister of State, President's Office, Regional Administration, Local Government & Special Departments H.E. Masoud Ali Mohamed on March 22, 2024 in Zanzibar.

The ship's crew visited Mizzizini Orphanage Center, Zanzibar, engaging in philanthropic activities and bonding with the children. The team received a warm welcome by H.E. Anna Athanas Paul, Deputy Minister of Social Welfare, Gender, Elderly and Children of Zanzibar.

 
H.E. Ali Suleiman Ameir (Mrembo), Minister of State, President's Office, Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar was the Chief Guest at the reception hosted onboard INS Tir and ICGS Sarathi.

 
India-Mozambique-Tanzania IMT TRILAT sea phase of the exercise was held from 24-27 Mar 2024. Sea Phase saw INS Tir, INS Sujata, Tanzanian Naval Ship Fatundu and Mozambique Naval Ship Namatili engage in coordinated Ops after rigorous harbour phase.
