Release of booklet on Indian Army in East Africa 1914-18 on occasion of Remembrance Day (12 November 2023)

High Commissioner Binaya Srikanta Pradhan attended the Remembrance Day at Dar es Salaam War Commonwealth Memorial and paid his respects to the fallen soldiers by laying a wreath.

High Commissioner along with H.E. Dr. Pindi Hazara Chana, Minister for Constitutional & Legal Affairs of Tanzania, British High Commissioner & German Ambassador released a booklet 'Indian Army in East Africa 1914-18'. The booklet recounts the valour & sacrifices of 50,000 Indian soldiers in East Africa campaign of World War I.
