Another milestone achieved in ICT cooperation with Tanzania with the upgradation of India-Tanzania ICT Resource centre set up by Government of India at Nelson Mandela African Institute of Science and Technology, Arusha in 2016.

The upgradation project through gifting of power backup system will enable optimal use of supercomputer Param Kilimanjaro installed at the centre. The event was graced by High Commissioner Binaya Srikanta Pradhan and Acting Vice Chancellor of NMAIST Prof. Anthony Mshandete and  attended by over 100 students and faculty of ICT centre, NMAIST and members of Indian community.
