Visa exemption for Tanzanian diplomatic and official/service passport holders
India-Tanzania inter-Governmental Agreement for providing exemption from requirement for each other's diplomats and official/service passport holders became effective on 26 December 2016. It was signed by the two Governments on 10 July 2016 in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Therefore, the holders of diplomatic and official/service passports of the two countries do not require visa for travel to the other country from 26 December 2016, except when employed in the other country.
